"Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark purple color stains the glass & is completely opaque. Aromas are of juicy, intense black-fruit, graphite & clean cedar. The palate shows some lifted violet notes before black-cherry, graphite & cedar characteristics take over. The wine is medium to full-bodied with a tight core of graphite & cedar enveloping the dark-fruit. Alcohol appears balanced. Crunchy, fresh cassis opens on the long, structured finish where it is framed by fine oak tannins." - 04/23 DCAMW
